"Question
with boldness..."
Thomas Jefferson
Dr.
Freedman, our medical director, is constantly researching the
most advanced and effective aesthetic techniques. As a clinical
assistant professor of plastic surgery at Georgetown University,
Dr. Freedman maintains a keen interest in scientific research
that ultimately benefits our patients. In fact, some of Plastic
Surgery Associates of Northern Virginia's research has stemmed
from questions posed by our patients.
Over
the past year, Dr. Freedman has been studying combining lasers
with surgical techniques, reversing the effects of sun damage
to skin, the responses of tissue to microdermabrasion, aspects
of laser hair removal, and lectured on these topics both nationally
and internationally.
